Ippity Hop Monday ...Red, Yellow and Green
It's Monday and time for another {ippity} hop! The card I want to share with you today was made for last weeks {ippity} challenge. The color challenge was to create a project using the colors of fall: red, yellow and green. When I think of fall, the main image that comes to mind is the beautiful colors of fall leaves. So with this image in mind, this is the card I created.
Once again I turned to The Simple Things stamp kit to create this colorful card. The leaf and berry stamps in this set are among my favorites. I stamped the berries with Color Box chalk ink and accented them with matching pearls. I love this paper from Bo Bunny which I forgot I even had until I ran across it while I was organizing my paper! I used Martha Stewart branch and bird punches for the border. It's hard to see through the pattern paper, but the corner punch is a bird on a branch. I distressed the matting and inked the edges. A little bit of twine finished off the card. The sentiment came from the Bitty Pixie Paisley stamp set.
