The Play Date Cafe Challenge 48
Today I have a card to share with you that I made for this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge. The challenge this week was to use the colors of purple, green, gray or silver based on this photo:
Because most of the kitchen was silver in this photo, I decided to use a soft gray for the background of the card and use purple and green for the accent colors. Here is the card I created based on this photo:
First let me say it was hard to get a good photograph of this card because it is so gloomy outside; it's quite dark inside the house. With no natural sunlight it was hard to photograph the colors correctly. The frame is actually purple but it looks a little brown in the photo. The background paper was stamped with my favorite Tim Holtz stamps: Weathered Textiles. The Lockheart Rose of Sharon stamp and green Biscotti paper from Memory Box were used for the center of the frame. The sentiment is from the Oriental Beauty stamp set from CHF. A frame from Tattered Angels, some silver ribbon, a Prima flower and some machine stitching finished off the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a look!
