The cold bug has been visiting our house this week , so I apologize for not posting the winner of last weeks blog hop sooner. Let me also say thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a comment. I truly appreciated all of your kind thoughts. So without further adieu the winner of the {ippity} itty bitty stamp set is Natalie, who left this comment:
"Susan I love your card! Love letters are so romantic." Congratulations Natalie. Please verify your address for me at ippity@comcast.net and I'll send your stamp set right out.
I'm also leaving you with a picture of the flowers I received for Valentines Day. I thought they were so pretty that I thought I'd post a picture.
Have a great weekend!

Moxie Fab World Die Cutting Challenge
Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the
Moxie Fab World Die Cutting Challenge. Obviously the challenge was to make a card using die cuts. Here is what I came up
with.
For Christmas, my husband bought me some Cricket cartridges and I went back and forth as to whether or not I wanted to keep them, but I procrastinated and the return time expired. One of those cartridges I ended up keeping was Damask Decor which I used for this card. I thought the heart damask would make a pretty valentine card and I used it as the focal point for this card. After cutting it out, I altered the die cut by inking the edges and stamping it with a french script stamp from Hero Arts. Pop dots were used to attach the die cut to the card which adds dimension. I then added some pink rhinestones which look much nicer in person then in the photo. I used paper from K & Co. and a heart punch from Martha Stewart to finish off the card. Because of the ornate design of the card, I decided not to add a sentiment to the front of the card. I think all the hearts on the card speak Valentine without having to say it in words. I'm sending this card to my Mother so I hope she likes it. In the end, I think my procrastination paid off, because I really like this cartridge.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Ippity Stamps Blog Hop and a Give Away
Good morning {ippity} friends and welcome to the {ippity} stamps blog hop! I'm so glad you could join us today for some {ippity} inspiration and a preview of the five new stamp sets being released today.
L.O.V.E is in the air with this blog hop. Truth be told I was not creative enough to create a card using elements beginning with the letters in the word love, so I took this opportunity to create a valentine to send to my son who is away at college.

It's always a challenge to create a card for a male, let alone a valentine. I think I found a happy medium here to create a card that sent him a little love but not be too mushy. I began this card with this weeks card sketch at Clean and Simple Stamping and one of my favorite {ippity} stamp sets How YOU Doin'. I love all the images in this set as well as the variety of everyday sentiments.
Tonight at 7:00 central time, five new itty bitty stamp sets will be released on the Unity Website. Here are a few simple cards I made using three of the five new sets.

Here is the new stamp set I used to create this card.
Isn't this a cute stamp set? I love the vintage dresses and the choice of sentiments makes this a versatile stamp set. I colored the images with watercolor paints and framed it with an ornate Spellbinders die.
There will be a blog hop this Thursday as well as a release party on Facebook that night that will celebrate the new releases. I hope you can join me for all the fun this week.
The new stamps will be available for purchase on Thursday on the Unity Website. Just click on my name and picture to start shopping. Thank you so much for stopping by and for choosing me as your {ippity} chick.

Birthday Wishes
I can't believe its been so long since I've posted a project! Life has been so busy that I just haven't had the time or space to do much crafting. But now things are settling down and I have plenty of time to get back to blogging and crafting.
As of the first of the year, {ippity} stamps became available for purchase directly from the Unity website and {ippity} is on sale for the first time ever at 39% off along with all the Unity stamps. To celebrate this big change, I used one of my favorite {ippity} stamp sets , Party Hat Wishes and this weeks sketch #174 from Clean and Simple Stamping to create this card.

I thought the bright Anna Griffin papers and this stamp set along with my handmade pompom made for a festive card.
