Ippity Stamps- Ippity Hop

Good morning ippity chicks!  I had summer on my mind today and wanted to make a card that evoked thoughts of warm weather, sunny skies, going to the beach and splashing in the water.  The stamp set that came to mind was Fishy Philosophy. This is the first time I've used this set and now I regret not using it sooner! Here is the card I came up with.

This card was so much fun to make!  I thought kraft card stock and papers from October Afternoon and  would be perfect for this card.

Spellbinders Nestabilities were used for the card shape.  The fish were stamped and embossed onto pattern paper and cut out.  I used a scallop punch to emulate the ocean waves.   The stamped sentiment and some pieces of scrap paper were used for  the flag.  When thinking of how to use this card, I thought it would make a fun summer birthday card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  For the complete list of blog  participants click here.  Enjoy your summer and have a great day.

Unity Friends With Flair Blog Hop

Good morning!  For today's blog hop I made a card using the Life Becoming stamp kit.

The butterfly stamp and sentiment came from this kit.  I stamped and embossed the butterfly onto aqua polka dot paper from Papertrey Inc.  A cuttlebug folder was used to emboss the aqua  background paper  and  I also used a Martha Stewart punch that was similar to the stamped butterfly.  A few rhinestones, a Prima flower  and a label from Martha Stewart  finished off the card.

Enjoy your weekend,

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger

Today I decided to play along with the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World.

The trigger for this week's challenge was this photo of a halter dress. What inspired me  were the bright colors of red,  yellow and white against the black background.  I love using black as a background because the colors really stand out.  This is the card I created based on this photo.

To begin with, I stamped and embossed the card base with a  dot stamp from Hero Arts.  I used pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey for the rose, leaves and middle strip.
The frame stamp and sentiment are from Unity.  Another Unity stamp, Mixed Messages, was stamped and punched out as a background  for the leaves.  A Martha Stewart punch was used for the leaves and a paper doily finished off the card.

I really enjoyed this trigger and if you'd like to play along, visit Moxie Fab World.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Ippity Stamps Blog Hop

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today I made a thank you card using the DeLovely papers from Cosmo Cricket.  I love these bright colored papers.

I just bought these new Sizzix label dies and I was so pleased with how nice they worked with the Cosmo Cricket papers.  For {ippity} stamps I used the burlap background stamp and the sentiment came from the Simple Things stamp kit.  An edge punch, a butterfly punch and a Prima flower finished off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of the hop. For the complete list of hop participants, click here.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

FWF Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!  For today's hop I made a note card using both Unity and Ippity stamps.

This cute snail stamp is  from Unity's May store kit and the sentiment is from Ippity's  Just Wanted to Say kit.  The paper I used is from the new Memory Box Jubilee collection.  The shape of the card is cut from a Spellbinders Label One Nestabilities die. A flower button and some  red  and white ribbon finished off the card.

I'm so glad you stopped by today!  To go back to the list of hop participants, click here. Enjoy the rest of the hop and have a wonderful weekend!
