{ippity}Stamps- Unmounted, Pre-cut Rubber Stamps

Today I will show you how to use unmounted rubber stamps.   If you are new to stamping and not familiar with unmounted stamps, todays post will show you everything you need to know to get you started.  Using a package of Ippity stamps, I will show you the basics.  The first photo shows you what the stamps look like when you take them out of the package.  The stamps are precut on a piece of red rubber.

Several images are included on each piece of rubber. To remove an image, punch  it out from the back of the rubber.

Once the image is removed, peal off the adhesive backing.

All you have to do now is adhere the stamp to an acrylic block.  The blocks can be purchased from any crafts store.

You are now ready to apply your ink and start to stamp!  I hope all you beginning stampers found this short tutorial helpful.  Tomorow, I'll show you some cards I made using this stamp set.  If you have any questions about the stamps, please click here for a description of the stamps and to view the complete line.

Have a great day,

{ippity} - Kissmass & Mistletoe

Today I am going to redeem myself.  This card is much nicer, in my opion, than my last one.  Since it's Christmas time, today's card is once again from the Kissmass & Mistletoe stamp set from {ippity}.  The tree is stamped and embossed  on burgundy cardstock.  Poinsettia paper is used for the background.  I used an embossing folder for the strip across the center of the card, highlighted with black and white ink and accented with red stickles.  Some sheer ribbon and a stamped sentiment finished off the card.

If you like this stamp set, it is available for purchase here.  Thanks for stopping by.

Cricut and Ippity

Blue and white - one of my favorite color combinations.  I received the new Cricut cartridge yesterday, When It's Cold Outside and I knew immediately, I wanted to make a card using one of the amazing snowflakes featured on this cartridge.  I decided on the tree snowflake and cut it out using white glitter paper.  I then used the snowman stamp from the new {ippity} stamp set, Kissmass & Mistletoe.  I stamped the snowman in blue ink and added a little tulle bow and some small flowers.  This card is overly simple and I'm not really thrilled with how it turned out, but it serves several purposes.  It showcased the snowflake, which I love.  It showcased the adorable snowman image from the new stamp set.  And even though it's very simple and not very artistic, it does look nice on my mantel next to the tree lights.  If I had it to do over, I would make a much nicer card which I might very well do next year!

Thanks for checking in today.  I promise my next card will be better.  To learn more about this stamp set, please click here.

{ippity} Stamps - A New Rubber Stamp Line

Good morning everyone!  I am so excited to share with you my first card using my new, just released, {ippity} stamp.  I decided to start off simple and use the Peace sentiment from the Kissmass & Mistetoe set.  Bright red cardstock, vintage pattern paper, die cuts, some fancy trim along with the beautiful sentiment and voila!  This card might not be for everyone, but I like the bright colors and it really stands out when I look at it on my fireplace mantel.  I must just use this idea for my Christmas cards next year! Here is how the stamps come packaged. I love the packaging.
