Color Splash - The Play Date Cafe

The card I want to share with you today was made for the Color Splash challenge at The Play Date Cafe.  The challenge was to create a card based on this photo using only black and white with a  touch of either pink, copper or gold. 

For my card, I chose to add a touch of pink with the black and white.

The black card base  was stamped with a flourish stamp and then embossed with black ink and clear embossing powder.  For the frame I used a text stamp and a brocade stamp  from Hero Arts.  The pink brocade was also embossed with clear embossing powder. The leaves were punched from the same text stamped paper and the sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
