FWF Happy Fall
Good morning everyone! I'm so glad fall is on it's way and the hot weather is behind us! The card I am sharing with you today is for this weeks {ippity} challenge to create a fall themed card. After looking through my fall papers I came across this beautiful Indian Summer paper from Basic Grey which I used to create this whimsical fall scene.
I love New England in the fall when the weather is cool and the leaves on the trees turn the most gorgeous colors of red, orange and yellow. With those colors in mind I colored the leaves on the willow tree red and orange and used ruby red Liquid Pearls for berries on the tree. I love going to a pumpkin patch in the fall and picking pumpkins so I used a scallop punch to create little hills for the pumpkin patch. The pumpkins were stamped onto orange polka dot paper and then cut out. Four different stamp sets were used on this card to create this little fall scene all of which are listed below. A little button on the tag and some machine stitching finished off the card. I also submitted this card to The Shabby Tea Room for the tag challenge. If you'd like to play along with this challenge, click on the link to visit the blog.
