Ippity Hop Monday... Authentic Man and Perfect Pearls
Good Morning! I'm so glad fall is here and the crisp, cool weather has finally arrived! After such a hot summer, this cool air is just so refreshing and crafting is so much more enjoyable. A few weeks ago I read a post about Perfect Pearls and after viewing a few videos and seeing some examples, I decided to give this product a try. In case you've never heard of Perfect Pearls, this article gives a good explanation of the product and how to use it. So here is my first attempt at using Perfect Pearls:
The car and the blue circle are both dusted with Perfect Pearls. For this card I used this wonderful male oriented stamp set; Authentic Man. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but the stamped images have a sheen to them. Under a lamp or next to a sunny window, the dusted images have a pretty reflective shine. You can also mix the Perfect Pearls with water to paint with, or you can make a mist and spray your stamped project to give it a shimmery effect. For the rest of the card I used a background stamp from CHF for the distressed grid background and the map paper is from October Afternoon. Here is close up of the stamp set used on this card:
