{ippity} Hop Monday -Box Flower

Hello and welcome to another {ippity} hop Monday. The other day I came across the Cosmo Cricket blog and viewed a tutorial on making a box flower.  It looked like an easy and fun project so I decided to incorporate the box flower into today's card.

As you can see in the second photo this is a nice, full flower with a lot of dimension.  It's basically 4 punched out circles , that are folded in half and then layered the same way you would close a box.  For this flower, I used two different size punches to create two flowers and then I layered them to create one flower.  There was so much red on the card that I added some leaves to introduce another color.  The sentiment and frame are from the Just Wanted To Say stamp set.  The paper, I'm sure you'll recognize, is from the My Mind's Eye be loved collection.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to view all the other blogs on today's hop by clicking here.  And a big thank you to all you lovely ladies who take time each week to leave a comment on my blog.  I really appreciate all the kind feedback you leave each week! Thank you so much.

Hugs,
Susan
