{ippity} Hop Monday, Devoted

     Hello and welcome to the {ippity} hop.  I  have not yet received my new stamps from todays release of the Winter Collection.  So in honor of President's Day, I made a card that reminded me of a colonial home George Washington or Abraham Lincoln might have lived in.  Although, I've been to Lincoln's house in Vermont, it was really quite beautiful.

This little house is from the Devoted stamp set. To see more of this stamp set, please visit my {ippity} store here. I made an attempt at paper-piecing and this is what I ended up with. Paper- piecing is something I'm not very good at because I do not enjoy it very much.  It's just so hard to cut  all those teeny tiny pieces of paper!  I certainly admire crafters who paper-piece, but it's just not my thing!

     My new stamps will arrive later this week. Next Monday I'll have a card made with the new stamps.  I can hardly wait! Until then, enjoy the rest of the {ippity} hop, and check back with me next week when I can show off the new stamp sets.
