Avery Elle Color Challenge

     This week Avery Elle  has a color challenge.  The colors are various shades of green. I used the following Avery Elle ink colors;  sea glass, aquamarine and lemon grass. 

 

 

I went for a more formal card today  with embossing and satin ribbon.  Laurels  and  Oh Happy Day stamp sets were used for the flowers, leaves and sentiment.    The embossed background is from an  Anna Griffin embossing folder that was highlighted with sea glass ink.  I like that little hint of color.  A satin bow  and a few colored dots finished off the card.  It's hard to tell from the photo but the ribbon and aquamarine ink are a perfect match.  I photographed this card numerous times, and this photo was the best I could get to reflect the true color of the ink and ribbon. 

 

Had it not been for this challenge, I never would have thought to use these colors together.  I can see using this color combo again because it so pretty.    Now all I have to do is find my lost die.  When I was cleaning up, I noticed one of my leaf dies was missing.  I hope it shows up soon, because I love the leaves in this stamp set!
