Ippity Stamps Blog Hop

Welcome to another {ippity} hop!  It's been so warm here that I decided to continue with the Christmas in July theme and make another Christmas card using the Season of Joy stamp kit.

Just stamping all these snowflakes made me feel cooler...oh how I wish!  I tried a technique I had never used before - resist stamp where you stamp an image with Versamark ink and then emboss it with clear embossing powder.  Then you ink the background to make the image stand out.  Being my first attempt I think it came out alright, but I'll have to practice to see the different looks I can achieve.  I do like how the snowflakes stand out and the rhinestones add a nice touch of sparkle.  All the paper is from Basic Grey.

Thanks for stopping by today and remember this is the last week of my {ippity}  sale.  To continue along the blog hop click HERE.  Enjoy the hop and  have a wonderful week !

This Christmas card is so beautiful. It also looks really easy to duplicate, I am going to have to remember this for the 40 cards I make every year!

I'm with you there! It sure has been too hot lately. Maybe if we all start thinking about snowflakes it'll get cooler??

Even if it doesn't work, that sure is a pretty card.
Nicely done...lovely card!
