Ippity Stamps Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to another {ippity} hop.  It has been so hot lately, that it's been hard to craft anything! But today it's not as humid as it has been, so it's a good crafting day.  Since I  already had my Christmas supplies out, I decided to make another Christmas card using a sketch I found at Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I used the Season of Joy stamp set for this card.  I really liked the little holly and tree stamps in this set, but I wasn't sure what to do with them. It occurred to me they might make cute embellishments so I stamped the holly over a Christmas sentiment  and used a circle punch to cut it out.  I then applied glitter for an embellishment that really sparkles.  I stamped both the tree and the holly, but I liked the holly better on this card. The Joy sentiment was embossed with white embossing power and outlined with a white pen to make it stand out. 

 There are a lot of possibilities with this stamp set to make either a simple card or something more elegant. (See my previous post for a more elegant card using this stamp set.) This set is on sale on my {ippity} blog if you are interested.
