Ippity Hop Monday- Music of My Heart

Good morning {ippity} friends!  When I saw the Music of My Heart stamp set advertised on page 72 of the November/December issue of Paper Crafts magazine, I realized I had never used this set before.  I  don't know why, I just never broke it out of the package.  But after seeing so many wonderful Christmas cards made with music stamps I decided now was the time to finally open up the package.

Using the music background stamp from this set, here is the card I created:

I stamped the image once on black paper with white ink and once again on white paper with black ink. I then punched out the black paper with a scallop punch. I found the tutorial for this crumbled flower here and decided to give it a try. It was actually quite a lot of fun to make.  The sentiment on the card came from the  Season of Joy  stamp set. Both stamp sets used on this card are shown here:

All the red  paper I used on the card came from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly collection. A little paper pleating and small flourish finished off the card.
