ippity Hop Monday

     Welcome to another {ippity} hop Monday.  Spring has finally arrived, the sun is shinning and finally the warm weather has returned. A new season of Glee starts tomorrow night and I am a happy woman! The card I made for today uses pastel spring colors - pale yellow, aqua and a pop of red.

This card came about because I wanted to use some new embossing power I just bought.  The color is  a little too light for this card, but I liked the color so much I just wanted to use it.  I used two different stamp sets on this card.  The sentiment came from the  Just wanted to Say stamp kit.  The flourish and dot background came from the Love in Return stamp kit.  Both kits are available here.            

   I love the flourish in this stamp kit, especially the little flower within  the flourish.  To make the flourish stand out I outlined it with red dots and colored the flower petals and leaves with a yellow marker. I also liked the dot stamp in this set.  It's perfect for backgrounds.
