The Play Date Cafe Challenge 49

Good morning!  I have a card to share with you today that I made for The Play Date Cafe.  The challenge this week was to create a project using the colors of pink, turquoise, rusty orange and chocolate brown.  Here is the inspiration photo:

and here is the card I created:

Using a chocolate brown background, I did some messy stitching around the block of squares.  To blend the colors, I stamped some of the colored squares with a french script in brown ink.  Coordinating butterflies were placed on the solid squares and a little bit of bling accented the butterflies and sentiment.  I never would have thought of using all these colors on one card, but now that I see this combination, I really like it and wouldn't hesitate to use it again!

Thanks so much for the inspiration ladies!  This was a great challenge!

Have a wonderful day,
Susan

Supplies:
Stamps- Amuse, Hero Arts
Paper - Basic Grey
Card Stock- Memory Box
Misc:  Martha Stewart punch, rhinestones, square nestabilities, sewing machine
